Biography

Prof. Qiubo Zhang is a selected member of the National Overseas High-level Talent Program. He received his Ph.D. from Southeast University and conducted postdoctoral research at the University of California, Berkeley and the Molecular Foundry at Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory (LBNL), where he received the Distinguished Postdoc Award.

He has published over 40 papers in prestigious academic journals. Among them, he has authored 18 papers as the first or corresponding author in journals such as Nature, Nature Communications, and Science Advances. He also holds two U.S. patents.

Research Interests

  • In-situ Characterization: Dynamic evolution of micro/nano electronic devices during operation using in-situ liquid-cell TEM.
  • Atomic-scale Manufacturing: Processing of electronic materials in liquid environments at the atomic scale.
  • Energy Materials: Unveiling structure-property relationships in high-entropy alloys and electrified solid-liquid interfaces.
